Ryan Namata is Senior Specialist for Chief Human Resources Executive Engagement at HR People + Strategy, an affiliate of the the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). With more than 14 years of experience as an HR and Projects professional, Ryan has worked in varied industries, from startups to a Fortune 500 company and non-profit organizations. He has extensive corporate experience in the areas of staffing, workforce and strategic planning, training and professional development, HR information systems, change management and engagement.  He regularly presents professional development workshops to the local community, on human resource topics. Ryan also volunteers to speak at local universities and community groups who cater to minorities and the disadvantaged.

Ryan is currently the President of the National Association for Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) DC Chapter, President of Voices of SHRM Toastmasters club as an Advanced Communicator and Intelligence Community Heritage Council Liaison.

Ryan is a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park and also a certified Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) and certified SHRM-Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP).
