Dr. Eric Galvez

WORKSHOP SPEAKER   Dr. Eric Galvez is the founder of the cancer nonprofit, mAss Kickers Foundation. In September 2005, Eric was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Following his diagnosis, he underwent surgery, radiation and therapy. Since his recovery, he has published two books about his experience as a healthcare professional turned patient, created a support network for young adult survivors, and created the website mAssKickers.org, designed to empower cancer/brain tumor patients. Eric received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and Doctor of Physical Therapy from University of Michigan – Flint.
