Volunteer Coordinators
Volunteer coordinators are responsible for managing the volunteers in terms of scheduling, coordination and any issues that may arise. Due to the importance of the coordinator role, pre-screening is required and your resume or CV should be sent to volunteers@naaapconvention.org.
Career Fair Volunteers
Career fair volunteers help direct career fair attendees, register job seekers and assist exhibitors into the exhibit space as well as answer any questions.
Greeters/Assistants
Greeters and assistants will help attendees with questions regarding directions, locations of various events and other general inquiries. Some greeters will also be helping attendees into the ballrooms for meal events and ensuring attendees enter at the appropriate times.
Marketing Volunteers
Marketing volunteers will help at the NAAAP booth to provide information to attendees regarding NAAAP and its mission and vision. Some volunteers may also assist with creating and placing marketing materials throughout the convention area.
Registration Volunteers
Registration volunteers will be working at the registration desk and assist attendees with check in, badge printing and retrieval and new registrations. Experience with computers and online web systems is preferred.
Technology Volunteers
Technology volunteers have a variety of tasks such as computer hardware setup, configuration, software installation and support. Computer experience is strongly preferred.
Workshop Volunteers
Workshop volunteers will be responsible for directing the flow of traffic at individual workshop sessions and panels and moderating the workshop. Duties may also include providing assistance to the presenter or panelists, collecting survey results and fielding questions from the audience.
