Students: Jumpstart Your Career at the 2007 NAAAP National Convention & Diversity Career Fair

College and university undergraduate and graduate students looking to launch their careers should not miss the upcoming 21st Annual NAAAP National Convention and Diversity Career Fair.

The convention is open to NAAAP members and the general public. The 21st Annual NAAAP National Convention and Diversity Career Fair features two full days of professional development programs consisting of more than 20 panel sessions and workshops focused on leadership, management, professional development, entrepreneurship, diversity and community service.  Concurrently, a two-day career fair showcasing companies from all over North America that recognize diversity as a business imperative. There is no cost to attend the Diversity Career Fair. College graduates and professionals will find the Diversity Career Fair to be an intimate and vibrant forum to engage with company representatives about career opportunities and the company’s diversity initiatives. Job seekers will be able to register their resumes prior to the Convention, and recruiters will be able to pre-select candidates for follow-up meetings during the Convention.

The Diversity Career Fair provides a forum unlike any other Asian-American professionals and students to network with representatives of leading corporations about job opportunities and diversity efforts in the workplace. Recruiters come to this event specifically to identify talent in the Asian-American community, and are motivated to see success among our young leaders. We have carefully structured this year’s activities to maximize the purpose of the Convention, which is to act as a catalyst for our attendees’ professional and personal growth.”
