(Atlanta, Georgia) - Bank of America is the proud sponsor of the NAAAP National Convention Excellence Awards Gala, which will be held on Friday, August 17, 2007 from 6:00pm to 11:00pm in the Regency Ballroom of the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Hotel. Masters of ceremonies, Veronica DeLa Cruz (CNN) and Kiet Do (Fox5), will welcome the audience, which will be followed by a message from the NAAAP National President, John Fok. The evening will be filled with lively entertainment from comedian, Henry Cho and Yu Wei Chinese Dance Collection. During dinner, guests will enjoy music ensembles by the Vega String Quartet. Ken Lee, UPS’s Vice President of Domestic Security, will present the keynote address.

The NAAAP National Convention Excellence Awards Gala celebrates the accomplishments of our NAAAP chapters and ventures and recognizes outstanding NAAAP Convention corporate sponsors. In 2005, NAAAP recognized PepsiCo for the NAAAP National Convention Excellence Award for going above and beyond the call of duty to support the convention. Additionally, Raytheon Company was acknowledged for the NAAAP National Leadership and Diversity Award for its continued support in all levels from the convention, local to national.

Recognizes all of our medal sponsors for participating in the 2007 NAAAP National Convention.

NAAAP Convention Corporate Excellence Award
Recognizes one of the NAAAP National Convention participating sponsors who best exemplifies commitment to workplace diversity and demonstrates corporate responsibilities to the North American Asian communities.

NAAAP National Chapters & Ventures Excellence Awards
The awards recognize NAAAP chapters and ventures for their accomplishments.

Several raffle drawings will be announced for the Delta Air Lines’ round-trip airline tickets to two early bird convention registrants and to three job seekers who have posted his/her resume by the designated deadline.
